HIV PREVENTION

Strategic Positioning

Strategic positioning is how two men (one being HIV negative and the other being HIV positive) position themselves sexually to reduce the risk of passing on HIV. This may see the active partner (the top) as the negative partner because a penetrative partner is less likely to acquire HIV then a person who is being fucked (the bottom). Although this reduces the risk, HIV can still be transmitted through rectal fluids.
