The AFAO Annual Report records our activities and achievements each year
2015–16 has been a year of challenges and changes. During it, we’re also had successes, and we must celebrate those too.
Not only did cuts to our domestic HIV funding result in downsizing of the organisation and the loss of our health promotion program, we also faced disruption to the funding of our international program.
Highlights for the year include the approval of PrEP by the Therapeutic Goods Administration, our 2016 Federal Election advocacy, the launch of numerous health promotion campaigns including Outspoken for young gay and same-sex attracted men, as well as the convening the biennial National Gay Men’s HIV Health Promotion Conference.
