The AFAO-NAPWA Education Team (ANET) coordinates and undertakes information and policy analysis on a broad range of issues relevant to HIV and sexual health promotion, and provide advice to the staff of AFAO’s and NAPWA’s member organisations on best practice approaches and recommendation on appropriate policy responses to these issues.

This work includes developing and disseminating policy briefing papers, discussion papers and monographs on issues such as HIV testing technologies, biomedical prevention (microbicides, pre-exposure prophylaxis, vaccines etc.), as well as providing training and skills building opportunities for staff of AFAO’s member organisations, such as national fora and conferences.
