The Making Links conferences started in November 2004. These conferences were initiated and organised by a coalition of community based organisations, initially for the benefit of web development workers in the not-for-profit sector. In 2005 and subsequent years the conference broadened its range to include IT infrastructure issues and the use of information and communications technologies in community development and education.

This website archives presentations and evaluations from the first two conferences. Details about the conference from 2006 onwards can be found at www.makinglinks.org.au.
