HIV Treatments
Information and decisions about HIV treatments can often be complex and confusing.
There are a variety of different types of treatments now available to people with HIV, and the choice of whether and when to start HIV treatment and what treatments to take should always be done in consultation with a doctor with expertise in HIV management.
The AFAO-NAPWA Education Team has produced a comprehensive resource entitled HIV Tests and Treatments that describes the currently available HIV treatments, as well as some common tests used to monitor the health of people with HIV and how these tests can be used to look after your health, and make decisions about starting, stopping or changing your antiretroviral treatments.

The HIV Dosage Chart (PDF, 1 MB) lists HIV drugs and dosages. The chart, which is updated annually, is reproduced with permission and remains the property of Boehringer Ingelheim.
