Uganda Legislation 2009

Comments on Draft SA Nursing and Midwifery Board Standards for the Prevention of Blood-Borne Virus Transmission to Patients and Others

The current draft of the proposed new guidelines recommends, among other steps, compulsory HIV testing of nurses and student nurses. AFAO is concerned that the draft is contrary to principles underlying the national health reform agenda, and is premature.
