Description :
Australia has a comprehensive national immunisation program including vaccines against the common preventable infectious diseases known to cause widespread and serious illness in humans, a vaccine register (the ACIR) showing high coverage for childhood vaccines, and sophisticated and effective delivery mechanisms, including maturing school-based vaccine programs.
The 13th National Immunisation Conference will address challenges and new frontiers for all professionals engaged in immunisation from laboratory bench to clinic, from academia to the service provision coalface.
