Conference venue

The conference venue is the Novotel Sydney Manly Pacific, 55 North Steyne, Manly, (02) 9977 7666. Novotel Sydney Manly Pacific is approximately 600 metres (10 minutes walk) from Manly Wharf ferry terminal.

Conference accommodation
If you selected accommodation on your registration form, a room reservation will be made in your name, on a twin-share or single basis as indicated on your registration form.

AFAO covers the cost of the room and breakfast. Any additional costs such as phone calls, minibar and room service will be your responsibility. You will be required to provide credit card details to cover these additional costs. If you do not have a personal credit card, please make arrangements with your own organisation or manager.

Transport from Sydney and Sydney Airport to and from the conference venue

Public Transport from Sydney Airport
Take the train from Sydney Domestic Airport to Circular Quay. Walk out to the ferry wharves, and take the ferry to Manly from Wharf 3 at Circular Quay. It’s a picturesque 30 minute ferry ride across the harbour to Manly.

At the time of writing the train from Sydney Domestic Airport to Circular Quay costs $15.00 each way, and the ferry from Circular Quay to Manly costs $6.40 each way. (Total cost $21.40 each way)

Walking from Manly Wharf to the conference venue
After you walk out of Manly Wharf ferry terminal, cross the street and then walk along The Corso (predominantly a pedestrian mall) until you reach the beach. Turn left onto North Steyne and the hotel is approximately 200 metres on your left.

However, if you have a large amount of luggage or are unable to walk this distance, there is a taxi rank across the road from Manly Wharf on Belgrave Street. (Manly Cabs can be called on 13 16 68 if required).

Transfers/Shuttles from/to Sydney Airport

Both Airport Shuttle North and Northside Shuttle offer reasonably priced shuttles from Sydney Domestic Airport. Their websites list prices, pick up areas, and booking details. They advise to book in advance to ensure availability.

Airport transfers may also be booked directly with the Concierge Department of the Novotel Sydney Manly Pacific.

Travel by car

Directions for drivers from Sydney

A car park is situated beneath the Hotel (via Francis Lane) and offers secure underground parking and direct lift access into the hotel lobby and conference rooms. Parking is available for day delegates and in-house guests at a reduced rate of $18.00 per car per day, subject to availability.

Any of the above travel options can be utilised for your return travel after the conference.
