The successful applicant will have key responsibility for providing support and referral to victims of homophobic, transphobic or GLBT domestic and family violence and will work as part of a dedicated team developing and implementing initiatives aimed at preventing and reducing the impact of violence against gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender communities in NSW.
This includes contributing to the Project's strategic responses to violence, abuse and prejudice, assisting in the design and implementation of education and systemic advocacy, coordinating resource distribution, working with partner agencies, maintaining records and data systems, and providing relevant training.
This position will suit a motivated individual who enjoys working as part of a small, committed team in a friendly, flexible but professional working environment.
This is a full time position (35 hours/week) and it's based in Sydney.
